Samsung and Galeon Partner on AI Ultrasound and Web3 Medical Records

Samsung is making a strategic leap into blockchain-powered healthcare through a partnership with Web3 health tech firm Galeon. The collaboration aims to integrate AI-driven ultrasound data into a decentralized medical record system, combining Samsung's imaging expertise with Galeon's secure EHR network.

Galeon's existing Blockchain Swarm Learning infrastructure—already operational across 18 European hospitals—ensures patient data remains encrypted and anonymized while enabling cross-institutional AI training. The system processes over 10,000 caregiver interactions monthly at facilities including Rouen University Hospital and Sud Francilien.

This MOVE signals growing institutional adoption of Web3 solutions in healthcare, with decentralized networks increasingly seen as viable alternatives to traditional data silos.
